Patrick Lange

Conductor

Patrick Lange is a regular guest at Vienna State Opera and Paris Opera, as well as at houses including Munich, Toulouse, Dresden, London, Sydney, Zurich, Toronto, Seoul and Hong Kong. He was Chief Conductor of Komische Opera Berlin and General Music Director of the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden. 

In Berlin, his 'Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg', Rusalka' and 'Der Freischütz' received international acclaim. In Wiesbaden, he led new productions of e.g. 'Tannhäuser', 'Un ballo in maschera', 'Jenůfa', 'Salome', 'Carmen' and 'Der Rosenkavalier'. In concert, he has worked with orchestras including the Vienna Philharmonic, Bruckner Orchestra Linz, Madrid Symphony, Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, the Hamburg and Bamberg Symphonies, Staatskapelle Weimar, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the WDR Sinfonieorchester. He has toured with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Stuttgart Philharmonic, Vienna RSO, and the German Federal Youth Orchestra, with which he is closely associated.
