Ewa Bogusz-Moore (chair)

Director and Managing Director, Kölner Philharmonie/KölnMusik GmbH (from 1 August 2025)

After completing her cello studies at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, Ewa Bogusz-Moore obtained her Master's degree in Arts Management at the University of London and became a leading figure in the promotion of Polish music worldwide.

She first worked for the Polish Cultural Institute in London and then as Deputy Director of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. As Director of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra Katowice since 2018, she has led a comprehensive modernisation of the institution and was the second woman ever to be admitted to the European Concert Hall Organisation, of which she has been Co-Chair since 2019.

Ewa Bogusz-Moore is Chair of the Board of the European Union Youth Orchestra, Clore Leadership Fellow, Jury Chair of the first international competition for female conductors La Maestra and a member of the programme committees of numerous music festivals.

In August 2025, Ewa Bogusz-Moore took over the directorship of the Kölner Philharmonie and the management of KölnMusik Betriebs- und Servicegesellschaft.
