Jascha von der Goltz

Jascha von der Goltz is considered one of the most promising conductors of his generation. He gained international attention as the winner of the 8th International Panula Competition and runner-up at the Jeunesse Musicale Competition in Bucharest.

From 2021 to 2023, he was assistant conductor at the Musikkollegium Winterthur under Roberto González-Monjas and is currently working with the Orquesta Nacional de España and the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker. In 2026, debuts with orchestras such as the Tonkünstler Wien, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker and others will take him to venues such as the Musikverein Vienna and the Berlin Philharmonie. He has conducted the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and a CD production with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic for Decca.

He studied in Freiburg, Zurich and Oslo (with J. Schlaefli, J. Panula and others) and maintains a close connection to the Nordic musical tradition.
