Photos
Upload of up to 3 high-resolution photos, one of which must be a portrait photo and one of which must be a horizontal format photo in action while conducting, with indication of the photo credits. The files must be smaller than 8 MB.
Videos (maximum 4)

Please provide at least one current video recording of approx. 10 minutes in length in which you can be seen as the conductor (no back view!). To do this, you must include the link to your recording, which you have previously made available on a video platform of your choice (possibly in the protected area) (youtube, vimeo or similar). Videos longer than 10 minutes will not be considered. Please also note that you must select in the settings of the uploaded videos on the respective platform that the videos are not private and that embedding the videos on external sites is permitted. In addition, please leave the video material online until the application process is completed. The application process is completed as soon as you receive feedback from Forum Dirigieren (Conductors Forum) on the jury's decision.

 
Choice of repertory

1st round (6 works in total)

Please select:

  • Three oeuvres of the opera repertoire, one of which is by Mozart, but not both of them
  • Three symphonic oeuvres, one from each group of œuvres
2nd round (2 works in total)

3rd round (6 works in total + encore)

Please select:

  • Three symphonic oeuvres
  • Three oeuvres of the opera repertoire; the selection may be identical to the selection for the first round.
