Liubov Nosova

Liubov Nosova (1993*) is a russian conductor, organist and pianist and began taking music lessons at the age of four. She received her musical education as a pianist and later as an organist in Saint-Petersburg at the Rimsky-Korsakov College and Conservatory. At the age of 9 she played for the first time as a pianist with an orchestra and at 18 she conducted the Symphonic Orchestra of the Rimsky-Korsakov College for the first time.
Since 2015 she has lived in Italy, France and Switzerland, where she studies and gives concerts. As an organist, she has won several international competitions across Europe. She started serious conducting lessons from 2017 and completed international courses in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Spain with Rodolfo Fischer, Johannes Schlaefli, James Lowe and Vladimir Fedoseev. Until 2019 she will attend a CAS program in orchestra conducting at the ZHdK in Zurich with Iwan Wasilevsky.
She studied Master Conducting at the UdK Berlin with Steven Sloane and Harry Curtis and at the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory with Alexander Titov and completed her studies with distinction in 2022 in Berlin.
July 2021 she won Second price at the "Llyria City of Music" conducting competition (Valencia,Spain). In 2022 she participated in Paavo Järvi Academy with Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich and in the Chigiana Academy for Conductors under mentorship of Luciano Acocella and Daniele Gatti.
During masterclasses, competitions, concerts and auditions she conducts among others such orchestras as Bochum Symphoniker, Berliner Symphoniker, Neubrandenburg Philharmonie, Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt (Germany), Orchestra of Estremadura, Orchestra City of Lliria (Spain), Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Chamber and Symphony Orchestras of Saint Petersburg Conservatory (Russia), Orchestra de la Suisse Romande (Geneve), Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich (Switzerland), Orchestre National de France and many more.
In October 2022 she was invited to assist during a program to the Orchestra National de France by their chief conductor Cristian Macelaru.
She has a position of a conductor and assistant in Rostov on Don, where she regularly leads orchestra rehearsals preparing a lot of repertoire and conducts her family and children's concerts.
Liubov Nosova has been a scholarship holder of the Forum Dirigieren (Conductors‘ Forum) of the German Music Council since 2021 and was accepted into its concert promotion programme in 2023.
